At Ketsi, we believe that your health data is personal—and we treat it that way. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect the information you provide when using our gamified health tracking App. Unlike many fitness apps, Ketsi does not require account creation, login, or personal identification to use core features, meaning you can track your health journey with maximum privacy and minimal data sharing.

We are committed to transparency and protecting your privacy. This Policy applies to all users of Ketsi, and by using the App, you consent to the practices described herein. We will never sell, rent, or share your personal health data with third parties for commercial purposes, and we only collect the minimum information necessary to provide and improve our services.

2. Information We Collect

Since Ketsi does not require account creation, we do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, or social media profiles by default. The information we collect falls into two categories:

All device and usage data is aggregated and de-identified, meaning it cannot be traced back to individual users. We do not collect location data, biometric data (e.g., heart rate, step count) unless explicitly permitted by you, and we never access your device’s camera, microphone, or contacts without your consent.

We use the information collected to provide, maintain, and improve Ketsi’s core features—with a strict focus on enhancing your experience without compromising privacy:

4. Data Storage & Security

Local Storage: All user-input data (workouts, meals, gamification progress) is stored locally on your device by default. This means you retain full control over your data, and it is not accessible to Ketsi or third parties unless you choose to back it up.

Optional Cloud Backup (If Available): If you opt to use a cloud backup feature (e.g., to sync data across devices), your data will be encrypted in transit (via HTTPS) and at rest (AES-256 encryption). We do not have access to your backup encryption key—only you can restore or access this data.

Security Measures: We implement industry-standard security practices to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, or deletion of data. This includes regular security updates, secure coding practices, and limiting access to any aggregated data to a small team of authorized developers (only for App improvement purposes).

You are responsible for protecting your device (e.g., using passcodes, biometric locks) to prevent unauthorized access to your local Ketsi data. If you lose or replace your device without backing up your data, your workout logs, gamification progress, and other local data may be permanently lost—we recommend regular backups if you wish to retain this information.

Ketsi may integrate with limited third-party services to enhance core functionality, but we only work with providers that meet strict privacy standards:

6. Your Data Rights

Since all user-input data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:

If you have used a cloud backup feature, you can request deletion of your backed-up data by contacting our support team (see Section 8). We will process such requests within 14 business days.

7. Children’s Privacy

Ketsi is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has used the App and provided personal data, we will take steps to delete that data immediately. Parents or guardians who believe their child has used Ketsi and provided personal information may contact us to request deletion.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, App features, or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated Policy within the App and updating the "Last Modified" date at the top of the document. Your continued use of Ketsi after changes are made constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
